Mini Tank just got upgraded to DIGITAL!!
The most popular pocket sized vape on the market just got an upgrade, check out the new Rokin Mini Tank Pro!!
The Mini Tank Pro features a digital screen so there’s no more guessing what that voltage color means or how much battery life you have left in your vape. That same screen also tells you how long your hit was and how many puffs you’ve taken. Inside the Mini Tank Pro it features all the amazing technology Rokin is known for like Powerwave™ Technology and battery protections features, but the Mini Tank Pro now features variable voltage with the ability to adjust your voltage in 0.1V increments from 2.0V to 4.2V!
It has a removable front end so the Mini Tank Pro can fit most 510 thread vape cartridges (Learn about 510 Thread Vape Batteries). The 510 thread connection is spring loaded and will ensure a secure connection with any cartridge on the market.
The discreet Mini Tank Pro vape also features a preheat function (2 button clicks) that warms up your oils before use. All this is powered by a large 500 mAh lithium ion battery that is activated using the button or autodraw. The Mini Tank Pro takes your vaping experience to the next level and digitizes it!

Most 510 batteries keep you guessing. You don’t know your exact voltage. You don’t know how much battery is left. You swap in a new cart and nothing fires, and you have no idea why.
The Mini Tank Pro fixes all of that. It’s a pocket-sized 510 thread battery with a digital screen that shows your exact voltage, battery life, puff count, and draw timer in real time. No color-coded guesswork. No mystery settings. Just full control over every session.
At $29.95, it’s Rokin’s most popular battery, and the one Tyler, Rokin’s founder, uses personally.

Why the digital screen matters
Most pocket batteries use LED color codes to indicate voltage. Green, blue, red, and somewhere in between is “maybe medium.” It sounds simple until you’re trying to dial in a specific temperature for live resin or rosin and you’re just guessing.
The Mini Tank Pro’s screen shows your exact voltage. You set 2.2V, it runs at 2.2V. You can replicate the same hit every time. That matters when you’re working with quality oil and don’t want to burn terpenes at the wrong temperature.
The screen also shows battery percentage, so you’re not caught off guard mid-session. And the puff counter and draw timer are there if you want to track your usage or just know how long your last hit was.
Powerwave Technology: what it actually does
Powerwave is Rokin’s regulated power delivery system. Most basic batteries send a raw voltage burst to your cartridge and call it done. The problem is that burst can spike, which burns oil unevenly and degrades your cart faster.
Powerwave regulates the output so your cartridge gets consistent, controlled heat from the first puff to the last. The result is smoother vapor, better flavor, and longer cart life. It’s the same technology across the Rokin line, but paired with the digital display and 0.1V precision here, it gives you more control than any other battery in this price range.
Voltage settings: where to start
The Mini Tank Pro runs from 2.0V to 4.2V in 0.1V increments. That’s a wider range than most competitors, and the low starting point matters.
A lot of batteries on the market start at 3.2V. That’s too hot for most live resin and rosin cartridges. Starting at 2.0V means you can run quality oil at the right temperature instead of torching it.
General starting points based on oil type:
- Live resin and live rosin: 2.0V to 2.4V
- Standard distillate: 2.4V to 3.0V
- Thick or older oil that’s slow to flow: 3.0V to 3.5V
- Preheat mode runs at 1.8V for 15 seconds to warm thick oil before drawing
These are starting points. Dial up or down in 0.1V increments until you find what works with your specific cart.
The connection problem (and how the Mini Tank Pro handles it)
One of the most common reasons a vape battery stops working has nothing to do with the battery itself. It’s a dirty connection point.
Over time, oil from your cartridge naturally migrates to the 510 thread connection at the base. You may not see it, but it’s there. It creates a film between the battery and the cart that blocks the electrical connection. The battery seems dead. The cart seems bad. But neither one is the actual problem.
Tyler covered this in detail in Rokin’s maintenance video. The fix is simple: a Q-tip with 91% or higher isopropyl alcohol. Clean the connection point, clean the bottom of the cart, screw them together, and it fires.
The Mini Tank Pro’s spring-loaded 510 connection helps here. The spring keeps consistent pressure on the contact point, which means a more secure connection and a smaller surface area for oil to bridge and block. When the connection screws in smoothly with no resistance or stickiness, it’s clean and ready to go.
How often to clean: every few weeks under normal use. After every cart swap if you want to stay ahead of it.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Mini Tank Pro work with any 510 cartridge? It fits most 510 thread oil cartridges. The 12mm opening accommodates the majority of cartridges on the market. The spring-loaded connection ensures a secure fit. If you’re using a cartridge wider than 12mm, check the diameter before purchasing.
What’s the difference between autodraw and button activation? Autodraw activates the battery when you inhale, no button required. Button activation lets you manually control when the device fires by pressing the button. The Mini Tank Pro has both, so you can use whichever you prefer for a given session.
Why does my battery seem to stop working after I put in a new cart? The most likely cause is oil on the 510 connection point. Cartridges naturally leak a small amount of oil from the bottom, and that oil builds up on the battery’s contact surface over time. Clean the connection with a Q-tip dampened with 91% or higher isopropyl alcohol, clean the bottom of the cart, and reconnect. This fixes the issue in most cases.
How do I use the preheat function? Press the button twice quickly. The battery will run at 1.8V for 15 seconds, which warms up the oil in your cartridge before you draw. Preheat is most useful with thick or cold oil that doesn’t flow easily at room temperature.
How do I adjust the voltage? Click the button three times to cycle through voltage settings. The digital screen shows your exact voltage. Hold the button to increase or decrease in 0.1V increments. Refer to the included instruction manual for the full button sequence.
What does the 5-minute auto shutoff do? If the device isn’t used for 5 minutes, it shuts off automatically. This prevents battery drain and protects the device if you leave it on accidentally.
Can I use the Mini Tank Pro while it’s charging? Rokin does not recommend using the device while it’s plugged in. Charge it fully, then use it.
How long does the battery last on a full charge? That depends on voltage setting and usage frequency. At moderate use (20 to 40 puffs per session), the 500 mAh battery handles a full day for most users before needing a recharge.
What does the 1-year warranty cover? The warranty covers manufacturer defects in the battery for one year from purchase. It does not cover physical damage or misuse. Contact Rokin’s customer service team at 1-866-445-5660 or via rokinvapes.com for warranty claims.
Is the Mini Tank Pro certified for safety? Yes. It’s certified to FCC, CE, and RoHS standards.

Gotta give it to Rokin on this one – they made some really awesome upgrades. Love the new screen, device feels sturdier, battery life is improved, and USB-C charging is great to have. Weirdly, my favorite improvement is the new button. It feels 1000x higher quality and the placement is awesome. Only (tiny) complaint is they moved the charging port to the bottom so it can’t stand up while charging anymore. Definitely the best 510 vape I’ve ever had, thanks guys

Excellent Vape battery. I wanted something so mall it fits in my flip top cigarette case with a cart in it. And it had to be screw in. I was usuing magnet drop in ones and got so sick of them giving trouble. This works flawlessly and the auto draw (not needing to hold the botton) is very nice and uncommon in screw in batteries. LOVE that the voltage starts at 2.0. (Using 2.2-2.4) so many batteries start at 3.2
0 complaints. will probably buy a couple spares.
