Three-Piece Grinders

A three-piece grinder consists of a grinding section and a separate collection chamber. You put your flower in the top section and turn the lid, and the ground weed falls into the separate collection chamber automatically. When you’re done grinding, simply unscrew the grinder and retrieve your herbs from the lower section.

Four-Piece Grinders

A four-piece grinder has two collection chambers with a mesh screen separating the top chamber from the bottom. Fine pollen falls through the screen and collects in the lower chamber, allowing you to build up a stash of kief over time. Use the kief separately or sprinkle it over your herb when you want an extra-potent experience.

Five-Piece Grinders

In addition to the pollen screen and two collection chambers described above, a five-piece grinder also has a separate herb storage area built right into the lid. This allows you to grind a large amount of flower at once and drop the unused portion into the storage compartment for later use. When you’re ready for a second session, just pop open the lid and retrieve your ground weed.
